Lebkuchen Schmidt Advertising Column

Round columns plastered with advertising posters are on street corners all over Germany. They were invented in Berlin in 1854 and quickly spread to other cities (and other countries). In front of the beautiful Lebkuchen shop at the Schmidt bakeries in the south part of Nuremberg there are two large columns covered in posters appropriately advertising....Lebkuchen Schmidt!! 

Covered in authentic vintage advertisements, the Advertising Column Tin contains 10 round Lebkuchen in glazed and chocolate.

The 2023 Advertising Column is the 16th in a series that is newly designed each year.
