The Ukrainian tradition of Krashanky Easter Eggs with wood eggs. Ethnic painting is made by hand by artists of Ternopil in western Ukraine. A combination of ancient traditions and modern design. Wood eggs are dyed with natural colouring (ex. Dark red is made with onion; blue with berry wine). The white in the motif symbolizes the power of spring that brings new life and revival.
