Fraunholz Gluten Free Lebkuchen - Assorted

Fraunholz Elisen-Lebkuchen is a family owned and run company now in its 3rd generation. From the start they have created their soft, moist German gingerbread cookies with no flour - using instead an exceptionally high proportion of hazelnuts and almonds. 

Elizabeth and I love these Lebkuchen cookies even though neither of us is GF. We love the really nutty flavour and moist texture. And, because I have met the very lovely couple who runs this bakery in Nuremberg, I think I love the cookies because I like the people so much!

Almonds and hazelnuts (about 45%), sugar, orange peels, lemon peels, citric acid, antioxidants sulfur dioxide, egg white, glucose fructose syrup, apricot jam (apricots, sugar, gelling agent: pectin, acidifying agent: citric acid, flavor), honey, marzipan (almonds, sugar, invert sugar syrup, water), chocolate (cocoa, cocoa butter, sugar, emulgator: soy lecithin, vanilla extract. May contain traces of milk), spices, baking powder, wafer (corn flour, cornstarch). 

May contain traces of dairy.
