Fraunholz Lebkuchen Stickmuster Chest
This gorgeous Tin was created by the good people at Fraunholz Lebkuchen bakery in Nuremberg. Micheal - the owner of the company and grandson of the founder - worked with local Nürnberger artists to create the illustrations on this tin. The design is based on the embroidered tapestries that wealthy Nuremberg trade clans commissioned to showcase their gardens and hunting scenes.
Fraunholz Elisen-Lebkuchen is a family owned and run company now in its 3rd generation. From the start they have created their soft, moist German gingerbread cookies with no flour - using instead an exceptionally high proportion of hazelnuts and almonds.
