Stollen is a traditional German bread usually enjoyed during the Christmas season. Also called Weihnachtsstollen or Christstollen. Not overly sweet, this dense yeasted loaf is full of dried fruit, citrus, nuts and spices and dusted in icing sugar. Stollen could (and should!) be eaten any time of the day – breakfast, coffee break or dessert!
