Wendt & Kühn Grünhainichen Angel - Angel with Two-Tone Block

$41.95 CAD
Item # WK650-79
New for February 2020. The newest of the Grünhainichen Orchestra Angels plays the two-tine block - a percussion instrument that makes a bright and penetrating sound with a certain hollowness (but of course this Angel's two-tone block doesn't make a sound - but it's bright and shiny!).

Named for the town in Germany where these precious figures are made, the Grünhainichen Angels were first sketched and created in 1923 by founder Grete Wendt. Each Angel has exactly eleven white dots on their little green wings – their famous trademark the world over.

Made in Grünhainichen, Germany
Height of Figure - 6 cm or 2.25"
Comes in its own Wendt & Kühn gift box
