Wendt & Kühn Richly Painted Angel, Green, Kneeling

The series of green, richly painted Angels with their ruby red wings was introduced in 2020. Few other Wendt & Kühn figurines combine perfection of form and colour as impressively as the Richly Painted Angels. The translucent paint that is used creates a sea of colour that reflects the light in all directions. Although they are made of wood the Angels' robes almost appear to move.

Each piece is hand turned and assembled and hand painted by the artisans at the Wendt und Kühn manufactory in Grünhainichen - a quaint old town nestled amidst the hills and mountains of the Erzgebirge region of Germany.

W&K suggests this figure NOT be displayed with a candle - lit or unlit. It is purely decorative.
