A treasure box to plunder during the 24 days of Advent. Each day find a Rock, Mineral or Gemstone to enjoy. Each piece is approximately 2-3 cm (1") in size. Once your collection is complete store the beautiful stones in the cardboard chest.

Each specimen comes labeled in its own little box behind each window. Every day is different and includes Lapis Lazuli, Obsidian, Amethyst and more.

My middle daughter was fascinated with stones and minerals as a child. We went to great lengths to helping her expand her collection including writing a snail mail letter to a mining company asking for samples (she got a reply...with samples!). So when I saw this cool Advent Calendar I figured there are probably other budding geologists out there who would enjoy it!
