Wendt & Kühn has introduced a beautiful new e-card feature that allows you to send a digital postcard to friends and family anywhere in the world. It’s simple to use, and the result feels just as special as receiving a traditional card.
I was curious to see exactly how it worked, so I tested it myself (and sent a few to my kids — they gave it excellent reviews!).
Step 1: Choose Your Postcard
Begin by selecting one of the illustrated postcard designs on the Wendt & Kühn website. Each one features their beloved figures — angels, children, and seasonal scenes.
You can then add a short greeting to the front of the card.
Step 2: Write Your Message
Once you’ve chosen your design, you’ll be able to write a personal message on the back of the card.
This is where you can make it truly your own — whether it’s a birthday note, Easter greeting, or just a little hello.
Step 3: Send Your E-Card
Enter your recipient’s email address, and your card will be delivered directly to their inbox.
The process is secure and handled through the official Wendt & Kühn website.
What Your Recipient Sees
This is the part I was most curious about — and it’s really quite lovely.
Your recipient receives a simple email with a link to view the card.
When they click the link, the e-card opens in their browser.
A Lovely Detail
The card appears just like a real postcard. You can view the front design, and then click to turn it over and read the message on the back.
It’s a small detail, but it makes the experience feel thoughtful and complete.
