Our customers have been asking us for a Gluten Free option for years and we are very excited to be working with the Fraunholz bakery in Nuremberg to bring the yummiest GF Lebkuchen to Canada. These flour-less biscuits are getting rave reviews from our customers!
Fraunholz Elisen-Lebkuchen is a family owned and run company now in its 3rd generation. From the start they have created their soft, moist German gingerbread cookies with no flour - using instead an exceptionally high proportion of hazelnuts and almonds. Glazed Lebkuchen are coated in a light sugar glaze that adds a nice bit of sweetness.
