Dr. Quendt bakery's finest - Dresden-style Herrenkonfekt with rum punch and sour cherry filling.

Similar to Dominosteine or petit-fours, the Herrenkonfekt are bite-sized pastries with a layer of brown gingerbread, a layer of sour cherry jelly and a cake-like layer infused with real rum. And as if this combination is not scrumptious enough, it all gets coated with dark chocolate.
