I ordered 2 packages of this pfeffernüsse and when they arrived I noticed that both bags were already outdated, their best by date had already passed. I opened one bag to sample and both cookies I tried were very hard & dry & lacked the flavor I was hoping for. Will not buy again.

I remember receiving these cookies as a kid at Christmas when living in Germany. These taste fantastic and glad to see the makers have maintained the recipe and quality. Highly recommend them to anyone who love traditional European gingerbread.

It is so exciting to be able to order genuine German eats and gifts from Gingerbread World! I love the variety and especially appreciate to be able to have Stollen and Pfeffernusse for Christmas time! I highly recommend this shop!

So yummy. Brings back memories when I was young and my uncle would send us a tin of lebkuchen from E Otto Schmidt. So much easier ordering from Gingerbread World.
