Christmas Pickle

So there's this "old German story" of a Pickle shaped Ornament being hidden on the Christmas tree and that the first person to find the Pickle Ornament gets to open their gifts first. Except that it's not an old story nor is it German!!! Ask anyone in Germany and they won't have a clue about a Pickle Ornament!

But the story (which was probably started in the States - read my theories here) is so popular and demand for Pickle Ornaments has grown so much that German glass ornament producers have a hard time keeping up with Pickle production!
