Our customers have been asking us for a Gluten Free option for years and we are very excited to be working with the Fraunholz bakery in Nuremberg to bring the yummiest GF Lebkuchen to Canada. These flourless biscuits are getting rave reviews from our customers!
Fraunholz Elisen-Lebkuchen is a family owned and run company now in its 3rd generation. From the start they have created their soft, moist German gingerbread cookies with no flour - using instead an exceptionally high proportion of hazelnuts and almonds. The chocolate Elisen are covered in a layer of dark chocolate.
