I visited this small, family run bakery in Nuremberg this summer and was so impressed with the people and product. Michael Fraunholz, the fourth generation owner and manager, suggested we bring in the Gluten Free Lebkuchen Konfekt, Chocolate as it had become, in the last few years, his number one pastry.
So here is the soft, German gingerbread Konfekt - Elisen Lebkuchen cut into bars and coated on three sides with German dark chocolate. AND IT'S GLUTEN FREE - how excellent is that!?
