The Dirndl is the iconic dress of Bavaria in southern Germany. It is a type of "Tracht" which is based on traditional clothing of Alps peasants. Beautifully portrayed here in the handcrafted glass ornament from the 400 year old Inge-Glas company. Each ornament is mouth blown glass that is painted and decorated by hand in Germany.
