Inspired by the smooth, time-worn shapes of river stones, these Waldfabrik Natural Wood Stone Forms are quiet, tactile objects designed to be held, displayed, and appreciated for their natural warmth and simplicity. Each piece is hand turned and shaped from solid wood in Germany’s Black Forest, resulting in soft contours that feel grounding and comforting in the hand.
The collection includes three variants: two crafted from darker hardwood and one from light-toned maple. Though similar in form, each stone differs subtly in size, weight, grain, and colour, making every piece unique. The maple stone offers a pale, gentle contrast, while the hardwood versions bring deeper tones and a slightly heavier presence.
These wooden stone forms are intentionally versatile. Display them on a table or shelf as natural sculptural accents, nestle them in a bowl on their own or mixed with sea glass, real stones, or shells, or simply hold one to appreciate the smooth surface and organic feel of the wood.
