2018 Lebkuchen of the Year - Lebkuchen Spitzen

Lebkuchen Spitzen or Gingerbread Triangles are the latest Lebkuchen of the Year from Lebkuchen Schmidt.

The finest Elisen Lebkuchen - soft and moist gingerbread made with a larger than usual portion of nuts along with honey and an exotic array of spices. Baked without the wafer on the bottom so that it can be coated on all four sides with German milk chocolate. Drizzled with a little dark chocolate, these are scrumptious morsels to share with Holiday guests or hoard for yourself (I plan to do the latter!).
