Schmidt Lebkuchen of the Year 2022 - Honey Heaven

The famous Schmidt Lebkuchen bakers in Nuremberg Germany have made their big annual announcement! The special recipe for 2022 - the Lebkuchen of the Year - is....Honey Heaven.

The Elisen Lebkuchen is made using the finest honey which gives it a delicate, sweet taste. The cookies are packed with an amazing array of nuts and almonds. Little white chocolate stars adorn the night sky made of dark couverture chocolate: a heavenly pleasure!

The bakers at Schmidt have been creating a special recipe for years. There are two particularly great ways of sampling these various Lebkuchens:
