Best Options for Lebkuchen Newcomers

Lots of people are finding out about Lebkuchen for the first time and they ask us what we recommend as a good starter package.

If you just want hardcore Lebkuchen (no Stollen or other treats) then our suggestion is the Assorted Premium Trio. This excellent combination includes Lebkuchen Schmidt’s Lebkuchen of the Year – Queen Elisen – as well as two customer favourites: Plum Cinnamon Elisen and Black (double chocolate) Elisen. All "Elisen" Lebkuchen - meaning more nuts and more nut oils - yay!

Don't be left out! Gluten Free, Vegan and Organic options are available for you to try. Choose a packet of cookies that meets your needs. Remember that Lebkuchen is fundamentally a nut cookie - so there are no nut free options :(
