Wendt & Kühn Blumenkinder - Girl with Cherry Blossom

An exquisitely handcrafted and hand painted Miniature. I think this may be my personal favourite of the Blumenkinder Collections. The detail on the skirt, the long braids cascading from the crown of daisies around the young girls head and the intricacy of the cherry blossoms make this an exceptional piece to collect and show off.

Handcrafted in Germany with an astonishing amount of detail, Wendt & Kühn  Blumenkinder or Blossom Children radiate the pure innocence of childhood. When designing them in the early 1900's, founder Grete Wendt incorporated the very essence of all her creations: our universal longing for goodness and a sense
