It is always great to hear from customers how they are using and enjoying items they bought in our shop. The Green Pocket hanging planters have been getting a lot of attention this Spring. Customers have been sending pictures of how they've chosen to hang the vertical plant bags and what they've chosen to plant in them.

Verger Créatif in Mont-Saint-Hilaire just outside of Montréal, Canada chose white Pockets to hang on the side of their studio. Verger Créatif is a meeting point between contemporary art and agriculture - an artist studio and galleries surrounded by an apple orchard and permaculture.

Full disclosure: my oldest daughter is living at the studio this summer working with owner Joann as part of her university practicum.

Joann and Mariel chose white Pockets knowing they would be planting bright yellow flowers and mounting the Pockets on the side of barn. They came up with an ingenious way to hang the Pockets from the soffit of the roof by thin chains.

"S-hooks" hooked through the top grommets of the Pockets into the chain hold the planters in place. They also chose to attach the bottom of the Pockets to the wall to keep them from flapping around in the wind (or blowing off altogether).

The Green Pocket hanging planters are available in 7 colours on our shop. They are designed in Ireland and made in Belarus. Also part of the "Blooming Walls" Collection are the Green Bag and the Green Block plant bags that come in various sizes and four great colours. Wonderful and unique ways to dress up your yard and gardens this year.

A big thank you to Joann and Mariel for sending their pictures and good ideas!

Cheers!
